So two days ago I started a 30 day fitness challenge with one of my friends in the area, Evil Opal, (http://www.evilopal.com/)
Obviously the dates are wrong and we're also starting mid-November but I'm posting each days' challenge on my twitter every morning so that everyone can join in and do this with us if they want!
Today is the 3rd day, our first rest day. I'm on a mission to improve my body and am currently on weeks 3 and 4 of Jillian Michaels' Body Revolution, so for me it wasn't really a rest day... I won't actually have any rest days! haha
Today I did week 3 of Body Rev. 30 minutes of strength mixed with a little cardio. Push-ups, lunges with 15lb dumbbells, squat presses, and more. I hate workouts that take forever and that's why I always have loved Jillian Michaels. I get results and still have time to get on with my day. I can already feel how much stronger I am. I haven't lost any weight in the past couple of weeks which is a little disappointing considering how well I've been watching what I eat and counting my calories, but I'm not one to let that get me down.
I've started taking B12 vitamins (the gummies, because I'm a child and need gummy vitamins) and they've really helped me feel more energetic. I haven't been taking naps daily anymore, today is day 5 without a nap and it's really just great. I've been able to get so much more done!
I hope we can start doing more fitness challenges, I think I'll start in January and create a group so we can all get a little more fit together!
